Our Summer Vacation Begins...

These next few blog entries are dedicated to my Mom and Dad. They were the ones who took me to see these inspiring church and US history sites when I was the age of my oldest kids. Now they will get to see the play by play of our family's turn. Thanks, Mom and Dad! Love you!

Zach has been ready for this trip for weeks. It's finally here!

The day begins with a shuttle ride to the airport. They are so excited for this long awaited adventure!

 After a long day of travel, they are still positive while we wait for the rental car. Two flights are enough to do anyone in. The kids are amazing travelers. We had no problems at all. It was actually fun to see the reactions of complete strangers when they saw a big, happy family stroll by in the airport, backpacks and luggage in tow, with big kids helping little kids. Apparently we are quite the show. We are off to a great start.

Still waiting for the rental car. Luckily Zach has a seat made just for him.
